Presenters

Thank you very much for helping your chapter by volunteering to share your experiences. What kind of presentation do our members like?

  • Case histories, case histories, case histories. The most requested type of presentation by our members is case histories. Those you have solved and those you haven't.
  • Basic Predictive Maintenance Technologies and Techniques. What have you learned lately that has helped your program? Many of our members are just getting into this field.
  • More advanced technologies and techniques. We have a few "old timers" who have been around this track before, and we all like to hear the "War Stories". Also the technologies are changing rapidly and we like to keep up.

Who will you be talking to?
Most of our members have been in the Predictive Maintenance Field less than 5 years. About a quarter are just starting and the rest are more experienced.

Rules for Papers

1. The registration fee will be waived and we will buy you lunch.

2. The typical length of a presentation is about 45 minutes, but we can be flexible.

3. We usually have an overhead projector, a laptop computer with a computer projector, can provide a slide projector, a table for demos, etc. just let us know. Many presenters bring a PowerPoint presentation on their own laptop.

4. We will need 50 copies, 3 holed punched on the day of your presentation, and an original soft copy mailed to the AIPdM Chairman 1 week before. The chapter will reimburse members for black and white copying costs if necessary.

5. The AIPdM prohibits commercialism in its seminars, courses, and meetings except vendor days. Content of presentations shall be educational material of a technical, practical or scientific nature materially related to the purposes of the Vibration Institute.
